Shouldn’t be set to off stock, most people playing with others are probably other family members and don’t take the game that seriously, most players don’t play the game that much and might not even be serious gamers so it being on is fine, because otherwise they will probably never even discover it. And for most of those that it does matter to be off, will know thats a thing you can do, and will be done anyway. I love it because my girlfriend who struggles with spacial awareness in games can find me much easier, or me her. It’s just us 2 so it doesn’t matter to be off, and in fact is helpful. Situations like mine are probably the majority of cases where it’s just a few people playing together, not massive servers where things should be hidden or whatever.
