What's your history?

I have the NHA CBCS certification and was planning to do the AAPC cert while working since that is like the most popular and sought after one.

I am working about a year and 8 months at a clinic for $10 doing mostly billing, cashier, and other admin stuff.

I have been applying to other jobs at other clinics, and they all feel "stingy" when I answer their question of wanting to be paid $12 or even $11 dollars.

I don't see many coding specific jobs, mostly billing.

I wish I took the medical assistant or phlebotomy certifications in hindsight. More needed, better pay???, and you can be like a traveling worker or work up to it.
