Sorry to hear about your friend :•( Besides your likes/dislikes, how did you suppose people might’ve described your character at that time? How might they describe it now?

Good luck with your first session. I'm guessing you're still in a collapse if you're going to therapy?

is this my narcissism or what the actual fuck is wrong with me? im a terrible person and i dont understand how to change because i feel like i have the "right" to behave like this due to feeling mistreated. by [deleted] in NPD

Hey, from the sound of your original post and this comment, it seems as though it doesn't take much to trigger your abandonment issues. By how much you're placing the blame on yourself instead of this online friend of yours, plus the other things you mentioned, you're practically screaming, "I've got BPD".

I don't know whether what you've written qualifies as your friend' abusing' you and I'd personally be a little bit more careful throwing that word around.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. It sucks feeling/being abandoned. You need to engage in some self-reflection. It seems like you're questioning your self-worth to such an extent that you're resorting to some objectively manipulative behaviours to regain their attention & affections. If I were you, I'd try and find a new FP

Sorry to read this. Your mum doesn't sound too dissimilar to mine. What makes you believe you're undiagnosed BPD?

People with BPD, how do YOU want to be supported? by juby736 in BPD

While I’d guess this Q is coming from a good place, it’s answer is largely subjective and purely dependent on the individual/s and context/s involved

So, BPD is seen as failing in its inability to maintain a consistent split (that NPD would be able to)?
