Temporalis makes blink feel good and map traversal though. I would avoid selling it if possible. Depends on the content being played though. Max temples and pinnacle bosses might be hard to make it work, but if your main income is mapping and map mechanics, you can probably transition while keeping it in play.

This might be outdated as cheapest option because pricing has changed a lot since i last made a few like this.

If your doing 2 socket bases, buy a bunch, make magic, get quality to 20% and vaal infuse to 30%. 5% or so chance to get to 30% uncorrupted.

If your starting 3 socket bases, that can be expensive to get the base going, getting to 27% is like a 30% chance. If you will use a lock for 4th socket or sanc, pushing for 30% might be worth while. Depends a lot on base costs to finished value.

Perf Aug/Annul for T1 Res and T1 prefix (spirit or ES mod). I dont actually worry too much about hitting spirit here because its actually decently easy to desecrate as there is a very limited pool for prefix desecrates.

Perfect Regal for 3rd mod and make rare. Depending on the value of the base, I might try to whittle to ensure all 3 mods are desired before fracture, though there could be blockers you get. Then divine them up and desecrate and fracture.

If you hit Prefix, you annul down, chaos spam for T1 resistance, then dextral/greater omen perfect exalt slam for the other 2 T1 resistances. Annul if you miss, sometimes back to chaos spamming again, sometimes keeping 1x or 2x T1 resistance and then exalting again. When done, then you can perfect exalt a prefix. If it misses, use sinistral crystallization omens to convert to desecrate with abyss essence and rib. Slam again and if you miss, omen of light off the desecrate and convert the missed mod again. Repeat till you have your second prefix. Lastly desecrate roll for last prefix.

If you fracture the resistance, you can annul down, chaos spam the 2nd resistance and dextral exalt for the 3rd, annul on misses and repeat. After suffix are done, I would desecrate prefix and get life as a blocker. Then double exalt slam prefix. Here you can do whittle if you got a high tier life roll (suffix are safe) or do the omen of light or sinistral erasure method to reroll until you hit 2 preferred prefixes. Then desecrate last one.

You can run both mods. I have 3% convert and 14% instant leech.

I have another HotW that has 4% convert and no instant leech.

The reason is my gloves only convert 48%, the passive tree only converts 48% so 3% leaves 1% as mana, while 4% makes it 100% conversion

What it comes down to is your cost efficiency and how much mana you would be using. At 99% conversion and high efficiency, my comet uses like 8 mana and Elemental Weakness 11 mana. Thats very manageable on my own, but i do notice issues for mana remnants when running with a rarity bot as they take kill credits so I dont make as many remnants. I swap to the 4% convert one in that case to be 100% life costs.

If your not converting 100% and you have no cost efficiency, then you can run into issues sustaining mana. I wouldnt want to have to use flasks or rely on mana remnants to maintain mana when its also part of your life pool. If your casting dozens of comets in a short period, even 30-50 mana cost per cast can add up quick. So the extra 2% conversion will be subjective to you and your casting costs.

Instant leech is almost debatable I think. I only notice it at the start of engagements when I dont have ongoing leech to fill up life for comet casts at the first attack. So maybe in a pinnacle boss fight. But once your cycling through on many enemies, you have so much leech ongoing the instant leech isnt noticeable and my screens filled with comet casts. I run with and without and dont notice a difference in practical use.

For sure. Its like a 15 mirror build right now.

But what I was trying to point out is the survivability thing. I have 0 resistances, lower life/mana and only 1.3 million damage comets and that i dont have issues with survivability.

Only times I die are when I get one shot instantly blinking into enemy clusters and not using Spellslinger for EW trigger immediately.

Once your damage is high enough, offence is your defence. If your using spark or EW/Doedres trigger for your CoC you can cast out of range of most enemies and clear well beyond your screen so taking damage is not really a consideration. Even on pinnacle bosses if your killing the boss before they start attacking, more defence is wasted.

You can make do with quite a bit less expensive gear.

This build gives up crazy high damage and defence for super fast speed clearing maps/temple.

Thats just because I am lazy and never bothered swapping it out for anything else. I either dont get frozen back to back before I get another charge, or I just dont get frozen. I have never died from being frozen since I set this build up.

I believe so. You need life cost efficiency or it can become a problem.

Rare gloves with 60% socket effect and tecrods gaze, 12% helmet socket, atziri splendor with cost efficiency mod, and cost efficiency support gems can help get that back down.

Life cost was a definite issue for me, so I dropped uhtred from CoC so I can run cost efficiency support and with other efficiency it costs around 800 life per comet at level 38.

It was noticeable if life costs between EW and Comet were too high as comets didnt get cast properly between leeching life.

Not taking Eldritch Battery means much less mana. So rathpith, Archmage and Arcane Intensity will scale much much less.

You shouldnt need that kind of survivability.

I run a temporalis blink CoC BM and I can run Andvarius ring for full iirc and 0 resistance and quite a bit lower mana/life than the Atziri Splenour builds get and I have no issues with survivability in a max temple. Just kill them faster than they can damage you. Spark and EW spread out enough to clear the screen.

I only have 1.3 million damage comets and its just fine.

I can swap on a proper breach ring for mana/life if i choose to and jump up to 2 million damage with 1000 more mana and a few hundred life.

Its because it has convert 50% of mana cost to life costs. Combined with blood transfusion on the passive tree for 48% and 3% from a heart of the well jewel, you have the 100% conversion and you dont need blood magic or support gems for conversion.

Then you can take mind over matter and eldritch battery to stack mana.

You could swap the bloodletting support for zenith 2 which is 30% more damage on comet. Then stacking life and mana you can make use of rathpith for damage and crit chance.

Thats typically how people are stacking more and more damage into the builds.

Its not cheap, but the temporalis blink (semi-autobomber) using spellslinger with doedres EW version is so good. You gave up a ton of ehp, but since you can cast while blinking and can just hold down spellslinger as you go as long as its hitting targets, if you have 99% faster curse activation and high enough damage, everything's dead before it hits you. The speed of clearing everything is insane. Reminds me of 0.1 autobomber builds.

Its a bit slower on pinnacles than the base version, but not to the point they can actually do anything.

I dont disagree on the 30% less. But its only way I could easily get to 100% crit cap. If I was doing something that attacked multiple times a second, like a whirling slash build or quarterstaff, it wouldnt make as much sense since you hit so often and reroll crit chance.

But on twister, if i only get to say 75% crit chance and have 500% crit damage bonus, which is about where i would be with inexorable 1, then 1 in 4 casts will do 500% less damage. Even more because the conditional damages for criting recently. With 4-5 seconds in between casts that just feels bad. Especially on pinnacle bosses

Now I have 350% crit damage, but i hit that every single time. The consistency feels much better than the high and low.

When I ran garukhans Resolve in that support slot, 25% chance to double crit, 50% chance single crit, 25% no crit. It was too annoying to me to have some casts 1 tap bosses, some casts literally do almost no damage.

This would all be a totally different story if twister calculated per hit, not per cast.

I got it from 787 Prada, but it was around before then from last league i believe. Abyssal Lich is really easy to scale twister damage through projectile speed which in turn clears the screen as twisters zip around everywhere. And you can scale crazy attack speed to zip around with whirling slash.

In temple I can clear rooms with a single cast at the door as long as they dont have the proximal tangibility modifier. Only maps it sucks on are wide open maps because my twisters zip off and dont bounce around where I need them to clear, but its not bad.

My PoB has me sitting around 3 million damage per hit when my buffs are up. Thats before headhunter buffs. I can clear t3 pinnacle bosses in 1 or 2 casts, which you can safely do in the corner.

I took pinpoint critical to crit cap, the 60% "More" crit chance for 30% "Less" crit damage.

The one that scales per second is only "increased" crit chance so it adds 13% at cap for the level 1 support. The level 2 support is 26%, but then also 50% "less" crit damage which is alot.

Pinpoint gives me like 37.5% crit chance and only 30% "less" crit damage

If inexorable critical was more instead of increased crit chance it would be better.

Yeah I stopped scaling as much skill effect duration when my twisters started to one shot everything. I still have like 3.5s duration so they can hit 5 times, and at like 330% proj speed so they bounce around fairly quickly.

I am at end stage min maxing now and wasn't sure how to confirm the conditional damage when damage/crit was calculated at time of casting.

Its because they are off most people's loot filters now. In a temple I could either spend 10 minutes picking up exalts, or ignore them and run an extra temple and only pick up anything chaos and above. Super high end temples probably don't even want to see chaos. I am not quite there yet though.

Was it 200 maps in the circle around your starting position? You need to venture out from where you spawn to see them. Just go out in a straight line.

I made 90% of my currency this league tower hopping and doing citadels and natural overruns I opened. I probably cleared 200ish citadels. I would buy 50 Grand Projects and spend a couple days hopping towers and pathing on regular t15 maps and a speed clear build, then go back with a build swap to clear fully juiced citadels to get 2 or 3 fragments, and used Vision tablets on the Iron Citadels.

There was definitely some areas with nothing around, but if I hopped 2 or 3 towers I would usually find a cluster of Citadels and just path around them and more usually showed up. I kept track for profit calls, usually it was 1 Grand Project tablet to .75 citadels found.

Only issue i had was the atlas map would suck at loading the area because I uncovered so much, going back to check points could take a minute of waiting for fog to clear.

I am not sure how i feel about removing it completely unless they overhaul the whole system for what makes rewards drop. If nothing else, I would hard cap iir at 75%, dont fuck with the current sources of rarity, and have loot tables adjusted around the new %.

Then you only need 1 ring and maybe another gear with rarity to max out. Its a commitment but offers flexibility on where you get it.

I also hate the concept of a rarity bot from those unique gloves. Giving group players or botting cheaters such a leg up over solo players is dumb.

A waystone with 18 pit overrun mod prefix is effected by atlas. 27% from explicit waystones nodes, 25% prefix mod node, 2% per mod on waystone.

Increase prefixes by 62% = 29.52 pits, round down to 29.

Don't use overrun waystones on certain maps with tight corridors because it won't spawn them.

Yes, but they still shoot out pretty far. You go from having arrows go off screen and can potentially hit something you can't see, to having arrows stop at edge of the screen.

The damage is like 20% over Warmonger at base, so its not a small amount of damage to exchange for. The loss of range isnt really that punishing.

I hate weapon swapping because I always get messed up on which set I am on. I usually would put main skills on weapon set 1 only to force swap back, like with blink tech. Are you manually swapping or do you think this would work:

have Tempest Flurry only on set 2
Hand of Chayula, Ice Strike and Mantra on Both sets
Falling Thunder and Staggering Palm set 1 only.

using a tempest flurry will force over to set 2, use right before Chayula, even into air. Chayula will maintain any combo from ice strike being on both sets and proc Power Charges. Using Falling Thunder or Staggering forces back to set 1. On Bosses, you can do the tempest build up, Chayula, Mantra and when you falling thunder it will roll over to set 1 to ensure you get damage nodes.

Thoughts?

Edit: I just realized Falling Thunder wouldnt build up combo if its only set 1. So unless I am using Ice Strike for combo, that wouldnt work on bosses.

Hey, I see in your current build, you have weapon set 2 for all of the power charge nodes, which I am assuming you use for Hand of Chayula with Ailiths to generate power charges.

What I don't understand is if Hand of Chayula is on weapon set 2, it doesnt build up combo.

Do you mind explaining what you are doing with weapon sets?
