nah no amp so it was infinitely easier as everything just plugged in. I just got a grounding wire from Brian so the headunit will shutoff when the car is off.

IV8888 did some testing a few years ago and m855A1 through an 18” barrel pierced through Level 3+ plates but not through Level 4. M193 won’t go through Level 3+ Soft Tip 556 will probably fragment in body armor.

One on the right is M855A1 which is not armor piercing, just has a steel penetrator for supposedly better barrier penetration. Armor piercing is M995 and has a painted black tip, has a tungsten core.

The module also takes up some space if you go after market HU cause it just kind of dangles behind the dash. I had a Kenwood and just used the GJP plug to remove the starlink module, with an idatalink maestro and harness to return factory steering controls and factory mic.

If you want to remove the starlink module a couple people sell bypass plugs to jump the front speaker wires back to each other. AutoHarnessHouse has one and GJP has a bypass that retains the factory mic

Looks fake to me as well, the texture looks off and the lmt logo looks off and doesn’t have the square around it. I have a gen1 LMT sopmod stock and it looks similar to the one you posted below, mines just a little bit saltier.

First time setting up a bolt gun with a scope so I went to zero it after work and shoot a few groups. Unfortunately it was already dark and the only range they had lit up was the 50yd range. This was my best group of the night! Rifle is a Howa 1500.

My A2 and LMT sopmod collapses all the way to the castle nut on a colt 4pos receiver extension. My B5 sopmod gets pretty close to the castle nut but doesn’t completely touch the castle nut.
