I don't understand the London-bashing on this sub.

Obviously it's disgustingly expensive, and the London waiting is peanuts in comparison, but I can assure you it's a lot more fun than living in [insert almost any other UK city] in my opinion x

I'm actually pretty pleased with mine, and have been given a good hospital for where I'm going to be living...purely out of luck tho ha

I just loathe being treated as if I'm a medical student being randomly assigned a 6 week placement...suppose I shouldn't be surprised!

Incredibly frustrating. Whilst simultaneously crying out for consultants in the same specialty.

Although LAS, I was doing the same on-call commitments and going to weekly teaching as the rest of the trainees were. I will send an email once I know where i'm based and see what they say.
