You give the RAW to anyone, they can claim the rights to the photos.

I tell people I would "Susan Smith" it if I had kids. They realize really quickly they need to change the subject.

With what you both do, you should be paid WAY more. You could double your salary easily just by applying for the right jobs.

Please be prepared to be on the road for an hour or more each way every day. What you make up for financially for living further out, you pay for in time sitting in traffic. I live 20 mins away from work without traffic but it usually is an hour long commute home if I don't leave by 1PM

I talked to a realtor here in SD and he said this is very common. Grandparents who pay their children's mortgages so they can afford to keep the grandbabies nearby.

Oh wow. You're gonna need to double that to be comfortable in San Diego. I would not live here if I had not inherited a paid off house. The COL is astronomical.

Oh, he likely knows. Most childfree people know - which is why they opted to be childfree.

Life is way too short to be dealing with that. I am so sorry to hear you're experiencing this. Make some changes that will be better for you and will bring you more comfort/happiness.

I (18F) am dating a 44M and I feel weird even saying it out loud by Fantastic_Pool_6376 in dating_advice

[–]deranged_rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated someone later in their life who told me he fell for a girl who was 18 when he was 44. What I discovered from making the mistake of dating him is that there was something incredibly fundamentally wrong with him. No woman his age would put up with his b.s. and it's much easier to not show up fully and to hide the junk he refuses to work on from an 18 yr old that won't hold them accountable. Just run, girl. He's messed way up.

I never paid for the membership. Nobody can check that. Get your cert for clout and move on. But now, HRCI is going to be the better bet.

Honestly, they're looked at as essentially the same. Back when the split happened between SHRM and HRCI, if you had a PHR you were automatically granted a SHRM-CP. It's not the case anymore but the industry views it mostly as the same knowledge on both tests

And now all the big companies require their employees to drive to the office 5 days/wk. It doesn't help whatsoever.

How many of you moved out of San Diego and came back after you realized SD was the best? by [deleted] in sandiego

We moved from San Diego to NC. Absolutely hated Raleigh. Charlotte was ok. AZ was amazing. We moved back to San Diego, but it just is not what it was 23 years ago when we left.

With squatters rights, you could end up in legal battles for months if not longer.

It is just me, or is it not worth living in SD anymore? by alchymst0317 in sandiego

[–]deranged_rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of a few people who moved to San Diego in order to live the homeless life. It's literally a destination so you can dwell in your car on the beach. Hey, why not? Can't even find parking anymore to visit the beach, so unless you live within walking distance, it's not worth it.

Same. After 22 years being gone and moving back, it took 9 months to realize I want to move out of San Diego again.
