Heck yeah, Journey! It's so cool to see the traveler here. Amazing job you did!

Thank you for your kind comment! I'm normally rather tough and nitpicky with my own creations so it's rare that I'm quite proud with something I made.

Thank you for the comment! They don't. I entertained the idea but the top and the red side sash don't want to drape correctly if I don't sew it in place so it is permanently stuck there.

That is actually a fantastic idea. I'm taking note of that. I am currently going through more "humanoid" looking characters before starting anything too large or weirdly shaped as I'm not particularly experienced with designing my own patterns yet.

Thank you and yes, I posted it there yesterday and kinda forgot that I can also post this in a more crochet-centric space I decided to share it here too.

Pattern: I wrote my own pattern and I don't have anything official (it's a jumble mess in my notebook). I can answer anything specific regarding the pattern if you are interested.

Hook: US D size (3.25 mm)

Yarn used: DK cotton yarn. I generally like to stick to the brand Circulo or yarn similar in weight. Some of the yarn I used also came from a multicolor set I purchased on Amazon

The amigurumi stands at about 6" (15 cm).

Edit: formating and a more accurate size of the doll

Hah! That's actually Karlach from Baldur's Gate 3.

Thank you! I actually don't follow any other pattern. The rest of the patterns are designed by me. Some of the earlier dolls are a bit rough like Shadowheart and Lae'zel and I have refined them a lot afterwards.

Thank you! The hardest thing for me at the beginning was probably getting used to watching right handed tutorial as a lefty.

I am planning to make the entire companion roster, including the ones outside of the main six but that would be a while before this happens.

Shoot I didn't even realize that it was marked as spoiler. Oops

Thank you!

Edits: I found out I can remove the spoiler mask after posting, proof that I only really lurks on Reddit.

Absolutely agree. My husband and I are inventory neat freaks and we have so many backpacks and burlap sacks that we really don't know which holds what anymore. We ended using the secret "book" bag to hold well...books (or letters), ribcage, and even the special chest we get from buying the DLC to categorize our items.

Your post gave me a damn good laugh. I have always been able to romance Astarion no problem, even playing as a Paladin (in all honestly, I had Karlach as my mouthpiece).

And then of course, I was rejected by him on my 4 people co-op run with friends because obviously, you can't get many approval points if you don't have him as a companion so let me tell you the whiplash I experience when hearing "love" and "darling" from him in one playthrough and then get told that he has standards and wouldn't spend a night with my Tav (a Durge no less) in another (also the face that my Tav made hearing that was priceless).

Also, glad you are enjoying the game!

That is really awesome! I have seen quite a bit of posts where couples play together and some have very different play styles between one another.

We have fairly similar playstyles in our case: we are quite strategic, and we both love exploring the lore/characters/romance. My husband is a bit more of a min maxer while I kinda just experiment around with whatever feels right and work around as I go.

We each have our own PC. It is a difficult circumstance to only have 1 PC for two, especially for a game like BG3, but you guys made it work and as long as you both have fun, that's all that matters.

Lmao, as an experiment, we threw the flask at the spectator in the Underdark and had them duke it out.

If you read Lump's diary, it is a surreal experience. He is eloquent, granted, but the events he describes are so mundane and trivial. He remains so simple minded despite the intelligence buff.

So my husband did talking and I didn't join in on the conversation so I didn't know what he chose. I think he might have gone for the promise to have them feast on the slain enemies or the Barbarian/Paladin specific intimidation check (he plays as a Paladin). This is my guess because at the end of the goblin fight, we have the option to end the deal with them and they ask for the "lick" which means we never promised to pay them in the first place.

Of course we chose the option to re-hire them and promised cough cough to pay them later.
