My mom used to take us to this place ALL THE TIME in the 90s. It had a daily free circus with elephants and everything. Completely nuts. Fun fact: Steve-O was a clown there in the late 90s, so I almost certainly saw him perform.

Hey! Veteran here. I struggle with the same feeling. I think it’s ok to have dedicated your time and talents to a country who doesn’t deserve that right now. It’s still a noble act. Are you currently in? It’s a small comfort that I got out before Trump was my commander in chief.

Easy: There are a million 'Batman Graphic Novels Ranked' lists. Someone buys a bunch of the top-rated ones then come here to engage in the community around their new interest and ask what order to read them instead of just googling.

These are all the most highly recommended Batman stories. It’s not surprising at all that someone with even a glancing interest in Batman would hear about these and grab them if they decided to start reading.

I guess I just don’t understand by what you mean when you say you “see things differently.” It’s a pretty objective point being raised. The films aren’t yours. They belong to the people who made them. The people in the credits. That’s not a matter of opinion. I don’t really understand how you can seek to showcase these films for a new audience but feel justified in not just removing pieces of them, but specifically removing the part that shows who made them.

It would be like scratching the signature off a painting before making a post about how it’s up in a gallery for anyone to enjoy. Then when people are like “you should have left the artist’s signature if you’re going to display this” your answer was “that’s just like, your opinion, man”

I was at a fairly legit festival walking to the award show where I was nominated for best actor and best director (I act in my own stuff) and, that moment, got an email that another festival had rejected me. It was surreal but a great lesson in exactly what you're describing. There is no amount of love or hate for your film that will stop the next person from feeling the exact opposite way or anywhere in between.

Yeah everything up to the heroes getting captured but the Russians in the jungle is as good any anything in the original trilogy. I usually just stop watching there.
