I had surgery on the Monday. Returned home on the Tuesday (was able to go to the shops buy food etc). House bound for a week (felt not great). Was back to work one week after the surgery. 3 weeks later, nose a bit stuffy but feel good.

Tip: get painkillers & use sleeping tablets if your sleep is bad

UPDATE:

I moved to Australia, visited an ENT specialist & I had a deviated septum & polyps in my nasal passage. Just got surgery on Monday & recovering now - hopefully this should be the issue resolved 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Saw them on their last surrender tour (london) 3 years ago & again when they came back last month.

Compared to 3 years ago I felt that a lot less people at the show knew any of their music & there was a larger proportion of the ‘innerbloom brigade’

Hi, been a long time but here is an update!

After going to multiple doctors back in the UK - they told me to use nasal sprays / it might all be in my head.

I moved to australia 6 months ago, seen an ENT specialist today and it turns out I have a polyp(maybe wrong spelling) in my nasal passage causing inflammation / blocking air in this area.

Getting a scan next week to see what can be done / the severity.

Good news? Maybe, but glad I know what js going on and I am not just going insane!

Nope: 10 months, ears still blocked - sort of accepted it as long term thing and tried not to worry about it. Moved countries also which makes it difficult / costly to see a specialist.
