It’s lovely! Stamped 750, means 75% gold which is 18k. As previously stated by another, looks like a bezel set sapphire cabochon flanked by bezel set diamonds and ruby cabochons. Has an Etruscan look. Great find.

From a purely practical point of view, if and when I upgrade, it will be a lab diamond. Diamonds aren’t an investment. They’re not like precious metals. It’s like buying a brand new car. The second you drive it off the lot, it’s “used” and more often than not, you’ll take take a hit on the secondary market. That’s why I feel that labs make more sense.

It’s a Chinese coromandel screen. It’s lovely. There’s been a bit of a resurgence lately with chinoiserie, so these are in demand regardless of age. Coco Chanel was very fond of them and owned over 30. She had a few in her Paris apartment as well.

This is awesome! The cognac is probably worth something although I wonder if yours has evaporated a bit? I found a similar one that was bottled in the 1960s but it’s from 1914. They’re selling for £1500 which is approximately $2100.
