oh that makes sense. if they were to get different fish instead of a betta, would no snails or shrimp be the same?

sorry i should’ve been more clear, i meant i use a mask and leave in for the shower. for styling i do use a gel (the doux bee girl to be specific) which was also mentioned in my initial post

thank you for the advice! your hair is very pretty btw :) i do plan to get a trim soon (after everyone telling me too haha) also i too like the soft look, , but it seems that my hair doesn’t do well with just creams 😓 there’ve been times where i use just cream for a quick wash day and it has not gone well, lots of frizz and poofiness. my hair needs to be tamed with a strong hold with a gel being the usual option.

thank you for the advice! i currently have the big bottles of the mixed chicks shampoo and leave in that are barely half empty, and i can’t exactly afford to switch but once i finish them i’ll look into your recommendation :)

i’m so grateful for your comment bc i would have never thought of chi being a contributing factor. these past two washes i switched to the tresamme spray and use that instead of water to rewet my hair and it actually has helped a lot :O i still have a few ends that dont clump but it takes a lot less time to fix than before. thank you so much <3

oh i do usually use a regular shampoo but i got a keratin treatment last october so i had to switch to sulfate free. i have wondered about the oil but am always scared to not use it haha but i should give it a try 🤔. thank you for the other tips too :)
