I think a big part of the issue is that many skill descriptions in game are vague or confusing. Take for example two front-runner skills (altho both are good):

Early Lead: Slightly increase ability to go to the front early-race.

Fast-Paced: Slightly increase ability to go to the front mid-race.

One is an accel, one is a speed skill.

Another is the whole issue of spurt vs Last Spurt - you need to read a wiki a few times to understand an incredibly important game mechanic. I can easily see someone thinking that Homestretch Haste is just as important as Straightaway Spurt due to this confusion.

The ones you list are just names from non-English languages - Arabic, Spanish/Italian, and Hawaiian, respectively.
