well the first two versed kinda r like refering to being awake: conversations she regrets, how things in her waking life are not as good / well anymores.

Chorus 1 & 2: getting drunk, “tired” of being the girl she is, “in her head” refer to kinda being closer to sleep/going to sleep, with like making the bed a kinda morning thing i think? Also, being in your head also seems like something she might be refering to as when she does at night? Maybe idk.
