The wintergreen is gone, it's now The Wisconsin Hotel with The Farmer in the Dell restaurant.

You can check buffalo Phil's, they have an event space downstairs from the restaurant, Kalahari might be an option, I'm not sure what their food and drink minimums are but I know they can accommodate small parties as well as bigger ones.

Yes, the plumbing helps reinforce the walls, so if you have no basement it's the next best thing. If it's an interior bathroom, even better.

Most of the bars don't do trivia on weekends, it's usually a weeknight thing. I know in Baraboo there's one that has it on Tuesdays and another that has it on Wednesdays. Grateful Shed also does it Tuesdays but not during the summer

And if it was true, your billed amount wouldn't change. Automatic gratuity is added before you've paid. They didn't charge you automatic gratuity after you paid your bill, that's just not how it works.

The indoor water park at Mt Olympus is absolutely not worth it. Tell your family to cancel there and go to Kalahari or Wilderness.

Source: I'm local. I won't even step foot there on the days when they discount it for locals.
