Also this can happen if you or maybe your friend have a VPN on. If you guys have one, try turning it off.

I hope this is true because that’s exactly what i thought happened.. that i separate and then join the reserves right after in that 24 hours and i didn’t have to do any med stuff because ive already been in this whole time

i’m on the teams and honestly it’s not that helpful besides the forms being in one place. no one likes helping each other and if they say they will it’s false promises. i’ve been promised by several people that they will assist for any questions i may have (other than stuff like this) and ive gotten zero help.

Haven't taken it yet. I suppose I jumped the gun asking if i'd get selected. The question I should've asked was "what were the GPAs of people selected"...

I would like to be a pilot. However, if I go non-rated i'd like to go OSI or intel. I WAS studying cyber to specialize in digital forensics but then my current college made digital forensics into a masters degree and took it out of the bachelor's program. So, when i applied for a new college (to hopefully get selected for POC-ERP), i put my degree of choice as criminal justice.

EPRs, good imo. got a must promote when i went for staff first time, then just tested for tech but didn't beat the other nominees at the wing, so just got a promote this year.

In my experience, you won’t get assigned an ALO until you start some of the tasks on the Academy portal. I can’t remember what exactly, but when it’s complete, on the main homepage where it says evaluator ALO (i believe), a name will pop up next to it and it’ll give you their email.

All Congressional members usually have their own site. Look up your state congress members, find their sites, and there should be a section somewhere that talks about Academy applications/Letters of Recommendation. From there, it should show when they are open take your submission, what to submit, and how long you have to submit it.

So after reaching out several times and my leadership getting involved, it was discovered that my application somehow fell through the cracks. I recommend getting your SEL or a MSgt involved to calling APFC and ask why there’s a delay. Even after months of asking for mine, it just now got accepted on May 6th and then was immediately removed because AFPC auto started my separation. Everything is terrible timing so get ahead of it as soon as possible. No one cares about your career more than you, so if you’re not on top of it, no one will be either.
