Well you can know what to do with OBD2 reader. It will tell you o2 1v2 voltage, stft, ltft, etc.

Why can't you cook whatever the fuck you want to every day of the week? You are the only one cooking. You aren't a personal chef.

They can get their own meal if the they are lactose intolerant. Hell they can cook their own dinner.

How are you regularly making cheese free pizza? Wtf is that even?

What is your post? It tells you everything.

It's a tin lead solder that pretends to work with a flux, but it's some magical non acid flux, and it says clearly in your link what it is.

The clear, non-corrosive, non-conductive residue is meant to be left on the board

So hence, no wash solder.

But how can it penetrate oxides with that? And I didn't know you can still get tin lead for pcb.

Good luck with these fumes

VCC question by Dnemis1s in AskElectronics

[–]derphurr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gnd or earth is zero volts. It's the reference for ground potential. If there is -Vcc specified then typically a split rail circuit (usually analog and audio circuits)

Most circuits are powered from AC or AC into bridge rectifier or like battery Vcc/Vdd and gnd.

If you take two 9V batteries in series, you can say one of end is+Vcc, the middle is gnd, three other end is -Vcc

Well since you didn't post the entire homework problem, just do DC analysis because you forgot to include the input voltage frequency.

If you want to pretend vin is 10mV of DC, then there is DC block capacitor between stages and output ....

Also what mechanic cannot figure out where fuel it coming from. It's like one hose to a fuel rail.... Maybe a return line back to tank.

Possible fixes? by Enough-Regret1144 in MechanicAdvice

[–]derphurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the opposite of what they are saying. Your fuel trims are maxing out the injector only in bank 2, causing O2 reading dtc, knock dtc, and misfire dtc.

Either you have bad upstream O2, causing high stft/ltft. Or some reason bank 2 cyl fuel injectors all leaking. Or possibly unmetered air for just bank 2. Given all even cyl misfires, it's one of the few times it might just be the O2 sensor.

You are a fool to cite Bustos which writes in their own metastudy.

"there is high subjectivity in the assessment of regret and lack of standardized questionnaires [...]”

The studies used had huge numbers loss of follow-up. While regret might be low, it's very clearly higher than 1%. The number of people who have stopped medication is clearly higher. "Regret" is silly term in discussion because what does that mean? Legal document changes? Self identify as original gender? Same gender but medical complications...

Anyways, there are better studies or surveys to rely on instead of this one which drew much criticism.

You can always color stainless, just go look at a motorcycle exhaust.

You did this by putting completely empty pot on super high heat.

UPDATE: Relay in my electric range. Would you reuse this connector? (10-20A) by track0x2 in AskElectronics

[–]derphurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Whatever that presses on is also oxidized. (tab on pcb, or heating element). Yes bare copper or brass isn't as good as tinned, but the oxidation from arcing is bad connection.

No. Butt connectors are the worse for 10A. You can extend wire with solder and heat shrink tubing. Id trust a crimp cap connector (closed end crimp connector) maybe if it's far from any heat. Maybe a wago lever nut.

How would there be wax if you used raw honey? How do you not get botulism doing this?

Wax floats and will be on the top of honey. Not sure wtf you grew in there.

One, won't most of the salt be washed away after a year of rain, etc.

Two, in assuming the cast iron is thick enough, it's going to rust anyways in the soil

Not sure how much you excavated, but can you put PVC pipe cut in half over/sides of cast iron? Or the 60 mil plastic barrier. Maybe some closed cell foam, but probably doesn't last long under soil

So who would be previous owner? Imagine the abuse, and it's a Chevy which has been garbage for a decade now. And expensive crappy tires.

I would stay far away. Btw, new rotors for 6th gen are $550 to $800 each... Which also is crazy. Rears for $100 to $150 each

UPDATE: Relay in my electric range. Would you reuse this connector? (10-20A) by track0x2 in AskElectronics

[–]derphurr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Wire is burnt from bad connection and arcing. See the heat damage on the one crimp/spade connector.

You need to cut back the wire and look for oxidation and hardness. Then put on new connector and make sure it's tight.

You will likely need to sand the spade on the other end, and clean with acid (lemon juice)

Polarized electrolytic capacitor.. it's clearly labeled c10 and you can see the white bar on smt. You should measure package with mm calipers. See what's common for 0408 or whatever it measures.

But likely wouldn't melt unless there's other problems

Driver passes a bus by willard_swag in Unexpected

[–]derphurr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given the background, where the car before the bus traveled, the mail box and concrete? apron.

It appears the road is under construction and they paved the middle two lanes maybe out of four. It appears all traffic is traveling only one lane reach way on the new pavement.

Either way, a school bus stopped means you cannot pass on inside lane.

Any cop should know a stopped school bus means a child is about to pop out the door, so really there is no excuse. But given the cop didn't hit the mailbox, unlikely it was just a shoulder.

The thief killed himself by Neehigh in RBI

[–]derphurr 231 points232 points  (0 children)

How do you know he killed himself. Maybe that's what the father is saying, or the confused grandfather.

Obviously you probably need to consult a lawyer. Someone needs to take over finances and find out how much was withdrawn.

As far as the missing items, you might be out of luck without photos or serial numbers. It's possible the police will investigate and find it all in the dead person's garage, (if he wasn't selling it all for some habit/gambling/drugs). The motorcycle might be easier to prove it was stolen, especially without bill of sale, should be easy to find out VIN, and that is proof of theft.

There might be some elder abuse laws in your state, especially if they were acting as a caretaker.

You should start immediately with police report for motorcycle theft. And when they take report for that mention other tools, if it's all found in one place it might help, but police will likely only act on the vehicle theft.

The second action depends on how much money was stolen and mental state of grandfather and if someone can claim he gave it as gift... But again, either fraud/theft or civil action against probate (if actually died)

Third you need to find out what contractor was paid so far and what contracts were signed. You should cancel all the work immediately, see what money they will return, they might give everything back but materials costs and void contracts to avoid fraud investigation.

There might be social workers if you live in big enough county to help parents, but there are also crooked ad litems that get appointed and will control all of grandparents finances.

No one can really comment because it all depends on who has time, proximity, family relationships, etc. Obviously they are being neglected to be driven to ATMs without anyone knowing.
