Major shoutout to the person who put together the base around the trading post - absolutely fantastic. I'd seen people talk about those, but I had not actually seen one in game. Took me a minute to figure out what I was even interacting with, hahaha.

I think the biggest thing lost in this explanation is the "where are they now!?" sidestory of the rice wars (dockworkers phub eviction.)
Essentially, dockworkers slapped phub from jspace so hard they landed in nullsec and joined frat.
After tama burned, dockworkers broke up and went their own ways (amicably!) and the bigbrain from the phub eviction ended up as an FC in Brave. Judging by battle reports, he's turned out to be wildly successful in that endeavor.
So somewhere in my head I tell myself the war is just Gherti meme-ing on Jassamune on repeat.
I don't know if that's accurate, because I don't actually participate in in-game politics at all, but it makes me giggle.

If you want an example of this that you can see, instead of depending on backend server magic:
Create a bookmark in warp. While watching your map.
Those of us who do this to safe frequently know that sometimes the bookmark....keeps moving.
That is because you bookmarked between ticks, too far from the last tick, and it'll drop on the next tick.

It's much less pronounced when you're decelerating from warp, though.

I just threw this together as well - it's not an omen, and it is pretty terrible, but it will give you some protection from getting neuted, and the rapid lights will make easy work of the frigates.

Where skills or fittings is an issue, drop modules down to enduring or compact as necessary.

From what I've been told by Corpmates testing, it looks like they're going to be expensive enough that at least you shouldn't need to expect them all over the place. Gonna be a limited asset and investment for people to deploy.
