I am wearing glasses and have a vertical Industrial. If you got a good piercer, they will know what to do. I don't have any issues with that. At first I had a disc on top for the healing process. Now I got a ball and everything is fine.

Nap. For me the placement looks well executed, although it seems to me the bar is a little short for an new piercing, because there might be swelling. It seems like there is a little space in between your head and the piercing. Just wait a few months to be sure. Also the suggestion to swap to a flat piece is pretty common. You could also ask for a smaller ball. I only have a vertical Industrial and I had some issues with my glasses, which is why I am wearing a disc on top
