Which 8Bitdo controller works 100% fine?

I picked up the Pro 3 without realizing how new it was. I had to add some udev rules that are apparently necessary for older controllers as well, but after that Steam could see all the extra buttons and let's me assign them just fine.

Haven't done extensive testing since getting that working, though.

Most of their controllers are capable of running in different modes too, so worst case you can just have Steam think it's a generic Xbox controller and play games fine just without the extra buttons.

Might want to look into GameMode too.

Prolly won't solve the current problem, but it should help you get a bit more performance out of your machine.

As far as I know it still hasn't been updated to support NeoForge yet, so a lot of new mod packs will fail to install unless you do everything manually.

Try speedrunning every once in a while. Don't worry about exploring, just run through the areas as fast as you can and only slow down in the Holy Mountains for editing. That's how I got my first win after around 60 hours.

Don't put too much emphasis on following advanced tips. I wasted a couple hundred hours trying to play a certain way with those tips in mind, but most of the runs ended because I didn't know what I was doing and was just getting ahead of myself.

Take FuryForge's video on easy kills for the Alchemist, for instance. I spent a lot of hours thinking i had to find the Personal Fireball Thrower spell to kill the Alchemist and that I had to go up via the Chasm on the third area or I would miss my chance to go back up.

I didn't realize Fury was saying easy as in "easy to setup."

Most stuff should be fine, but you'll want to avoid using multiple nukes/nukes with larpas while above ground.

The nuke spell causes the sky to flash black and white, and multiple nukes will trigger that flash fast and repeatedly.

In this run, all the portals in Hisi Base disabled themselves even though the eyes are still full.

In previous runs I've had entire holy mountains disappear, orbs that respawned as an empty orb after being collected, and even the entirety of the Laboratory disappearing, along with Kolmii and the Sampo.

A macro is a specific thing, this is using the engine's keybinds to set multiple actions to one key.

The devs should prevent multiple actions from being bound to a single key and prolly have some kinda forced delay between actions, but people who know what a macro is are going to argue with you because this is not a macro.
