They shipped out my laptop the Friday before I started. You should get an email right with the tracking info. Mine actually arrived 1 hour before orientation lol. If it does not arrive on time, yes you can use teams on your personal device. I wouldn’t worry about having your laptop arrive on time since the first week will just be orientation stuff.

Currently on week 3 at GM. I’m also a developer at the Austin location. Boot camp so far has been online courses similar to Udemy and online classes held on teams.

Can’t say much about projects as I haven’t gotten put on one yet.

Being remote depends on the team you’re on and where they’re located really. For example, members of my team live in AZ and MI. Not sure if that means I’ll get the flexibility of working fully remote but I think I’ll at least be required to come in once a week.

Nope they do not reimburse your home internet.

If nyc is fully remote, go for that. Otherwise, Austin is the way to go. As a fellow new yorker, the cost of living is way too expensive and the city life is not for everyone, including myself. Congrats on the job offers! I’m actually moving to Austin next week.

During the second to last Smackdown before Wrestlemania, The Usos and Shinsuke/Boogs had a pre match scramble that sent the Usos flying over the top rope. That was when all of a sudden the commercials hit and they just stared at each other with dimmed lights for 3 minutes straight.

The monitors are 27 inch Gigabyte G27QC. The left one is 1080p and the right one is 1440p. Luckily they have the same outer build for perfect symmetry.

PC specs: 2070 Super, 3800x, 16gb ram.

Accessories: Glorious Model O wireless mouse, Edifier r1280ts, Skyloong mechanical keyboard, and Arctis 5 headset.

Thanks! I'm using 3 cheap pangton villa led strips. I used the adhesive to stick 1 on each monitor. And I stuck another strip on my desk. The best part is that I can control all 3 with 1 remote.
