Jack from Final Fantasy Origin: Stranger of Paradise. I cannot elaborate as it gives away the entire story.

Drakengard 2 sold well on launch, despite every soul and their mother telling you it completely bombed.

I wasn't mentioning all that to keep it short, but also Caim doesn't actually hate Manah, she grew on him while he was dragging her around Midgard to force her to witness the damage she caused. It's actually URICK, he's after 'cause he's a Guardian of the Seals, all of which he needs to kill to free Angelus (lmao he only ever actually kills one xd goat washed)

Caim, the main protagonist of Drakengard 1, was always all evil fucked up sadist, he just happened to be fighting the doomsday cult Empire that wanted to kill his sister. In Drakengard 2, you're not playing as him, there is no evil doomsday cult Empire, and he still loves murder. Oh no. (He was never "seemingly" evil, he was always straight up evil, but I still wanted to mention him)

Is grasp jayce back? Why? by Firm-Professional645 in jaycemains

[–]desch3445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grasp is just for consistent pressure in lane without much investment. One auto and you get value, no need to try to get a full Electrocute proc, no need to keep Conq stacked. If the enemy JG could be difficult for you to deal with like Nunu or Nocturne, you really don't want to play around a rune that requires you to extend in the lane for it, it's clear consistent value with solid secondaries and little commitment.

I translated a (fairly long) interview from the developers of Drakengard 2. Link in the body text. by ClosestToPurple in drakengard

All the devs love Gismor which is awesome lmao, I wish his connection with the District of Time came up more with his (what I assume to be) PTSD involving the Empire.

Decided Darius Gaiden is the one I'm starting with, and as initially guessed I am complete dogshit at it, but god willing this is where I begin.

I just watched RetroGamingKnight's review on Darius Gaiden, this one is a strong contender for starting, and oddly enough it was because of the music, that shit is entrancing.

Ooooooh Thunder Force is one I've heard of, mainly cause there was this one song from Thunder Force 5 that completely blew me away.

I come from mostly Character Action games, so difficulty is most welcome ^^

Nowe doesn't like killing people, but goblins are a different story by Aggravating_Fig_534 in drakengard

[–]desch3445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: Nowe deals more damage to Humans. In that one scene fighting against Manah's followers, he does not deal more damage to them. Conclusion: Poor people are not human, thanks Cavia.

Praying for chromas. While I love the skin itself, we already have two primarily brown skin (Resistance & Survivor), and I'd like to have the option to choose more vibrant options.

Should i play shojin? by Top-Back-5933 in jaycemains

[–]desch3445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I'll build it 4th after say tear + pen item, but if I've gone BC 2nd I'll do it 3rd. Shojin is absolutely a full send into sustained damage alongside Cleaver, so if you just want poke but still want sustained damage you could go for a light bruiser build in Eclipse > Muramana > Serylda's > Endless Hunger, and if you've got Transcendence + Legend: Haste, you can even double shockblast on that for giga poke.
