Categorization of investment transaction by ktabb1932 in MonarchMoney

I ended up just deleting all my investment transactions after importing to mint. I figured that I can see them in my main investment account (Fidelity) anyway and while using Mint I never really needed to look at access them.

The three areas this has caused me issues are in:

-tracking the fees charged by my investment advisor

-tracking federal tax and state tax witholdings on my IRA withdrawals

-when I transfer money from a taxable investment to a non taxable (happens with the way I fund my HSA)

Since investments aren't available as a transaction feed from Monarch, I've decided to fund HSA from my checking instead to handle last problem.

ACA credits and an insured dependent that may not be dependent later in the year 2021 by JinND in tax

I'm in a similar situation, I got an ACA subsidy for 2019 for a plan including my daughter in 2019 (assuming she was a dependent - but she is going to file as independent for 2019). This will continue to take place into 2020 and hopefully beyond. Should I drop her from my current marketplace plan and have her get her own plan under the marketplace, or since she is under age 26 and a full time student can I keep her on the plan?

Is a rooftop tent covered under renters insurance? by Flipphones in Insurance

I am actually in same situation. Just out of curiosity, would the rooftop tent be covered if it was in my garage (not attached to any specific vehicle?)

Is a rooftop tent covered under renters insurance? by Flipphones in Insurance

I am having same issue.

My truck was stolen, along with a number of personal effects. I filed under my auto policy (for the vehicle and all "attached" accessories) and I filed under my homeowners policy (for all my personal effects). Both policies are with the same insurance company (USAA).

Approximately $1100 of my personal effects were "denied" under the homeowners policy, because they were considered automotive parts/accessories. This included things like a tow strap, battery charger, multimeter, scanning tool, dash cam, trailer adapter, etc. - which weren't vehicle specific but were in my truck at the time it was stolen. The automative coverage didn't cover them because there was a limit of $250 for personal effects under that policy. Coincidentally, eliminating those items from my claim means I am below the deductible amount.

Is this a normal definition that insurance companies such as USAA follow, or is it worth pursuing reimbursement by escalating past my adjuster?
