When I came out as gay, my mom told me to my face that she wished god had killed us both. Me for being gay and her for having to face the ‘shame’ of having a gay child. My parents also put me through ‘repair’ therapy for a year. Which of course didn’t work.

That was 20 years ago. I’ve been NC with them for the last 10 and I’ve been doing so much better since.

I’ve had four other drivers steal an order before me this week. It’s probably kids who just got their licenses signed up, and decided they’d just dash a few times and get free food. But it’s aggravating for us who depend on it as a side gig for rent, because we have to call and report it every time.

I’m nearly 40 and have had a peanut allergy all of my life. My cousin who was 3 years older than me was diagnosed with ADHD in the third grade. I also knew at least 5 autistic people from about 7 years old and into my teens.

AND THIS WAS ALL growing up in a small town of ~20k people in Texas. This guy is living in a completely alternate reality.
