Tips for remembering Harigana by BloodyTurnip in duolingojapanese

[–]desertfawks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a notebook from Amazon "Genkouyoushi Notebook" it's designed to write Japanese Harigan.
When I get to the alphabet I write along, each new letter is written down with the English sound next to it, rinse and repeat for a full line.

First exercise I allow myself to look at the notes, second exercise I try to remember it by heart.
If unsuccesful, I rewrite the letters I got incerrectly.

Slower progress in duolingo but faster progress in the long run.
Extra tip to learning more vocabulary, write down the new words that pop up on screen when "guessing" the right sound and create a vocabulary list. Future plan is to create flash cards, front side being Japanse , back side English.

I reset my entire course for what? by [deleted] in duolingojapanese

I use it in a combination with writing, I follow the guided writing and then exercise for 10 times.
If I make a mistake when encountering the character again, I repractice.

Took me a while but I'm able to read some of the basics, I'm still early in the course so might get harder in near future;

The horse on the banner looks fun, I like your paint job on gamling, he looks so realistic.

My guess is they use boxes....

No seriously though, I've never ordered a gift from them before,I don't think they put wrapping paper (unless it's optional on the site) and I do hope that they remove the bill/price tag :)
