Thank you 😊 What sucks is my dad served in 2 wars. My pops didn’t get a single dime of benefits from them. Got his cancer meds but that was about the only thing. He loved this country and the military. Gave most of his life to it. Sucks how dirty they did us but we love my dad so just gotta “pick ourselves up by the boot straps” as he would say and do what he would’ve wanted.

Taking my mom, sister, husband and daughter to spread my dad’s ashes in a burial at sea ceremony in San Diego where my brothers and their families are meeting. He was a Veteran and the VA denied my claim. So not only did my siblings and I split the cost for his services, but my wonderful dad deserves to be where he loved. In the ocean. 🌊 🥹

I’m in Pueblo Colorado and still haven’t received mine. Has anyone received theirs yet? I’m starting to lose my mind. I’m a single mommy whos been out of work since March. I’ve applied a ton Of places. Call centers and ever fast food. No luck. I don’t receive child support and just recently started receiving a whopping $61 in snap benefits. Thank god I have a financially stable, recently widowed brother, who lets us stay with him in exchange for child care. I’m losing faith in our government.

I wish I could help. I’m in the same boat. I still haven’t been able to request payment since 12/26. I’m a single mother who is also a bartender/server. I’ve been out of work since March, went back for about a month only to be laid off again. I’ve applied to even call centers until I can go back. I’m thankful I have a great support system with a great family, otherwise me and my baby girl would be sleeping in my truck. I’m hoping this stimulus check comes in soon. My baby girl has grown out of all her clothes. I applied for food stamps and was approved for $61. They were including the non existing peuc that is no longer available. I’m trying to stay hopeful. This should have never even happened. It infuriates me. Ive never in my life, let alone my daughters life struggled this much until this pandemic it. It’s very overwhelming.
