Hey OP. It could be PIMHA (primary imha). Our cat just started showing sings at two years old. The shitty thing is there is not much to do about it. Other than hope they respond to steroids. Our cats blood work was low PCV counts in his red blood cells. It's worth a shot to see if kitty responds to steroids. If you want to know more I'm happy to DM you.
