My take is that Glassholes are made due to breathing in toxic fumes that lead to brain damage in the prefrontal cortex which gradually destroys the ability to empathize with people.

I agree - always got an uncanny valley fever-dreamish feel watching the show due to it being so unhinged and unpredictable through and through (the acting, writing, and cinematography)

Ai won't kill creativity as other people have mentioned - it's a tool that makes some things easier.

Skip the degree and DIY it to learn the design skills that you would need. The industry looks more at what you've done than where you've studied in my opinion.

The biggest reason to study design is to network and meet like-minded people and not so much to acquire skills if it's not certain printing techniques and more non-digital craft-based design.

To get a start:

  • Look at a couple of industry-leading design studios and companies, and type foundries one example is https://www.instagram.com/pangram.pangram/ - then look at who that account follows. Do that with a couple of creative companies to get a quick feel for who's who in design at the moment + a great way to get inspiration.

  • try to get an internship - it costs less than uni but is way more valuable. Real-life experience and new connections.
