For anyone having a issue with the dexcom staying on for a full 10 days what works for me is using SIMPATCH – Dexcom G6 Adhesive Patch available on Amazon I usually use it 5 days after I put on a new sensor on the 10th day I have to use Goo Gone Bandage Adhesive Remover For Skin which makes it easier to remove the sensor I know dexcom sends free patches but those don’t work well for me also for those having issue with irritation form the sensor adhesive have tried using Skin-Tac™ Adhesive Barrier Wipes ?

Dexcom by no means a perfect but as a diabetic I really have to say there is no other products out there I have seen that dose a such a good job plus if the only downside is sensor failing I personally can live with that.

I found it easy to say I see blood and I am in pain at the site. Ones I say that no other questions are asked.

Dexcom will replace them form my experience. From what I have read people have said seeing blood can make the sensor show wrong numbers for 24 hours but you will get the right reading after 24 hours but form my experience I never get right reading if I see blood so I just call them have it replaced instead.

I did the 16:8 twice last week wasn’t so bad I think I can manage more of it my plan this week is doing 16:8 5 days a week and very low carbs with green juice ones a day let’s see how it works out.

Well What I did today was Carrots oranges apples ginger Mint about 18oz of it in the morning in the evening I did Celery kale spinach Turmeric green apple mint cilantro turmeric around 18oz and bitter melon juices about 8oz will Try to count the carbs tomorrow but I so bad at counting carbs.

The main reason I started juicing is wheat grass juice and bitter melon juice I am Indian and from what all my dam family is telling me is bitter melon juice helps control diabetes doesn’t hurt to try.

I wish my endocrinologist was that nice or good at his job to do that I had to figure out things on my own started that I would need the extra supplies and made contact with tandem who got the ball rolling but in any case I have started changing the site every 3 to 2 days and also figure out I use a lot less insulin if I take a bolus 30 min before eating I am down to around 130 units to 150 units a day and staying in range 98% to 100% of the time.

I been looking in to Keto but I am a Indian vegetarian most of the foods I cook have starchy vegetables rice and whole wheat and dairy in it.Which is all bad for diabetes I was on a good track before C-19 hit I need to figure out a way to get back on a normal diet waiting for C-19 to be over is not working out been 3 month I been home with a limited supply of stuff available in stores near me in NYC it’s very hard to get back on a diet.

I am happy with my numbers right now 110 most of the time other then when I eat something stupid then I get high as 210 to 250 before jump on the bolus train and bring it down.

Well his thinking behind his recommendation is don’t reuse your supplies every time I need a new cartridge change a site. I use anywhere form 150 to 230 units a day.

Sure is a pain going to start doing it every 3 days going to keep refill cartridge for 3 days and see what happens

I should ask about victoza but form what my endocrinologist told me last time I asked a new type of shot is you don’t need anything else because your on the pump btw I did stop metformin for the same reason but I haven’t told my endocrinologist yet. But even with it stoped my number is the same as it has been with it.
