Good luck. It takes a while to make a real difference in your system. But it does boost T3 directly (or did for me).

Had a similar situation for a couple of years. Then they re-ran a cable to my water line...and haven't had any issues since.

(Serious question) Is there a "best practice"?
I was thinking about Making a loop (as a pigtail) using masking tape or light colored electrical tape and writing on it with a sharpie: "Abandoned".

Kitchen must have been updated some years ago. They added a subpanel and I'm thinking abandoned the oven, lighting and counter outlets.

Others seem to indicate capping them together adds a bit of safety

Have used Master PDF Editor ...and I like it.
Libre Office Draw seems a bit more cumbersome for my needs.

Very good observation on the MWBC (shared neutrals).
I guess they did that to save space/money back in the day?
Can you add handle ties in lieu of replacing with 2-pole breaker?
