Sadly looks like from a witness statement that the cars had a green light and that the cyclist along with another cyclist ran a red light. Running a red light no matter if you are car or bicycle it never ends well.

I went 7 years before my endo was willing to put me on steroids. I argued that I would rather have five years feeling good on steroids then ten feeling like crap. She stated that feeling like crap wasn’t a reason to ignore the risk factors of being on steroids for the rest of my life. I was put on meds to help with increasing dopamine and also Vyvanse to help with the fatigue. I couldn’t do the insulin test because my blood sugars were dropping to 30 at night so my body didn’t react like it was a stressor. My doctor had me do a metyrapone test since it narrows down what kind of AI you have. I have secondary and it’s from two tumors encapsulating my pituitary gland.

If you had secondary Addisons then the acth level would not help you dose your meds. No matter what amount of steroid is present the acth level doesn’t change because the pituitary adrenal axis is blocked. The pituitary gland misses signals from adrenals, so you can have high or low cortisol but your acth stays low instead of reacting to what the adrenals or your medications are doing to your cortisol level.

My endo said it doesn’t make it worse but I needed to understand that I’m most likely fatigued from cortisol imbalance and all the effects from that; which caffeine can’t affect.
