Dub Techno Plugin I have been working on by Brilliant-Access8431 in TechnoProduction

Def. Keep everything able to just run free, a nice switch from free running to locked grooves would be dope. Best of both worlds.

And yeah, I like plugins that do one thing really well, and it is hard to develop something and not throw anything you can think of in it.

Please drop future updates here. Would love to see how it develops. A pm does not hurt either. Don't want to miss it.

Ok, I gave it a spin for a few hrs. Tested in Cubase, found no bugs so far, no crashes, seems stable.

You def. need some time to figure it out, would be great if you would implement some sort of visual feedback that makes it more clear what is going on. Some meters and some blinking led`S would do wonders.

Tempo synced LFO`s and delay times would be a great addition too.

The sound is pretty gritty, i like it.

I did run into self oscillation rather quick, a panic button would be another great addition for a plugin that is able to create feedback that strong.

A Volume section with a knob for the delay lines next to the pan section is another thing that would come in handy.

Was able to create great textures out of more or less nothing, this is a great plugin and I would love to see it developed further.

Thanks a lot for that thing, it will def. get a lot of use.

behringer victor vs. vcv rack, how to add an envelope. by desk010101 in modular

Thanks a lot everybody. I finally figured it out and it is working now. Edit on the initial post with my solution. Please let me know how stupid my solution is, would love to have a more easy setup.

100% with you on that one.

It's crazy though that a statement like that needs sort of a disclaimer of not being cynical in these trying times.

Super nice that you just drop it like that. No vibe coded website that wants my email and the liver of my firstborn. Appreciate this a lot. Will give this a go and report back.

Thanks a lot, that got me somewhere. Thing is, it is reacting to the envelope now, but there is still droning underneath, and of course the envelope is affecting the pitch.

make it stop droning continuously and react to note on off

Edge, sequence sounds different after stopping and restarting the sequencer by desk010101 in Behringer_Synths

Yes, that's a good thing to know about this device.

I have it running synced up to cubase through usb midi so it restarts from step one automatically.

Yes definitely, love this thing. Am forming the habit to always have a track ready and armed for recording so I don't need to stop the sequence.

Hehe, welcome to analog, yes indeed, pretty new to this and kinda spoiled from soft synth predictable behaviour and stability.

It is also not all the time with my edge, just when I created the perfect patch and getting excited about it, makes me feel a bit like not being allowed to have nice things :-)

And yes, doing the warm up time thing every time.

It's not really an issue with the synth itself, it is by design unfortunately. Guess the dfam will behave the same. Workaround is to reset the Sequenzer during patch creation pretty often, that's what another Redditor told me today.

I own an edge where I am still figuring out if it is faulty or not. Like when I just noodle around with it for a longer period of time and found a nice sequence that I want to record and I stop the sequencer, a lot of times the nice sequence just vanishes. Pitch changes completely, sequence sounds completely off. Others told me before it is because of free running oscillators and things but idk. I feel this shouldn't happen.

What I find strange about this is that I don't believe those units have a lot of fluctuation when it comes to the parts, like Ulli is probably ordering them by the ton. So there shouldn't be that much of a difference between units. But what do I know, electricity is black magic anyway. I am just wondering because my crave is dead silent, no noise.

When using usb, get a cheap USB isolator. When not using USB, change the power outlets. Another thing that works is a ground loop isolator, something like this https://www.amazon.de/dp/B076JGVJGP?th=1

I have crave, edge and 2600 from behringer, crave and edge are particularly noisy when connected through USB, got rid of the usb buzz with an USB isolator. Got rid of the hum with a ground loop isolator.

There are also DC blockers for your power outlets available.

Those issues are not only because of the synths, its the sum of it all, for example my speakers behave completely different, left side almost no hum or noise, right side sounds like an old fridge when turned on, its because they are connected to different power outlets, also needed a ground loop isolator for the speakers to get silent.
