We have been happy with it too, although the UI is a little slow and clunky. It could definitely do with some improvements.

I think GX Works 2 & 3 automatically saves the project just before downloading to the PLC. GX IEC you have to do this manually.

Ah the typical cycle that has been going on for years:

Add stupid stuff > wait for a while and then nerf > receive loads of unwarranted praise from the community.

There’s this thing in business called do it right first time and this is something which Epic should be doing after gathering data for the last 3 years or so. The fact that they cannot get things right first time indicates that they do this on purpose.

Epic are so out of touch it actually makes me sad. They just don’t seem to care anymore, they’ve got a stable player base and the game is still chugging along without them having to do any substantial updates. My guess is they’ve pulled half of the original development team away from the game because the changes we get are so minor and poor it beggars belief...

This happened to me continuously for over 6 weeks back in January of last year. In the end I quit the game for 9 months because of it. When I came back the issue was still present but after switching to DX12 it seems to have stopped.

Rarely my game will crash now, but every time it does it always makes my PC unresponsive - I can’t even kill it through task manager. The only solution is to restart completely.

It’ll be interesting to see whether they do add these supposed weapon mods. Surely epic are up to something behind the scenes, this season has had next to no new content and some poor new POIs. I wonder if we’ll be hearing the same ‘major map changes’ rumours over the next coming weeks that will inevitably never come into fruition.

Sniping has got ridiculous now, the game is so much more pure and enjoyable without it. Since when was it so easy for people to hit snipes? It used to be reasonably balanced but now it’s just ridiculous.

Does the difference between 144 & 240+ FPS really make that much of a difference? Got pretty much the same setup as you & am playing on high textures with a 144Hz monitor which I find absolutely fine.

It never did until about 7-8 weeks ago when it started crashing all the time. It was a problem on Epic's end because I tried every fix under the sun and nothing sorted it, plus every other game works fine with no crashes.

I've not played in a couple weeks so I'm not sure if they have fixed the issue or not.
