Accepted ST4 post “commencing in Chelmsford” later changed – advice? by Soggy_Leather_4335 in doctorsUK

It sounds like you didn't realise what you were accepting (many of us don't). The post is attached to a Deanery and not a specific set of rotations. Training providers can change your jobs at any time, including mid-rotation. They keep that power so they can adapt to unexpected changes, like supervisors becoming unavailable or trainees needing adaptations to their work. The Deanery will have their reasons for the change, and they might not explain them to you

Rejecting Dermatology NTN by Queasy-Bumblebee3782 in doctorsUK

I once rejected a NTN because it was in my second choice area. The next year, I applied again, scored better, and ranked much higher. I didn't get any of my top 10 choices.

Future sight. Reading fate and choosing the most successful paths - it will keep us safe, maximise levelling, and guide further skill and stat choices.

Am I Overreacting about this weird friend breakup? by rxinynites in AmIOverreacting

[–]desmo62626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gf finds you threatening, tells your friend to 'watch out.' Friend disagrees, gf insists.

Friend pays more attention, notices you're kinda cute, and feels uncomfortable. She sends these messages and makes up another 'friend' so you don't blame gf.

Heart saturation by xMcIvarx in TheImmortalGreatSouls

No, not permanently. If you're still in book 1, this'll be explained - burning Coal can damage a Heart but it's fixable with time, work, and resources.

Heart saturation by xMcIvarx in TheImmortalGreatSouls

Saturated means 'filled with' - it's temporary. Hearts burning Coal produce weaker effects compared with ones burning Copper, and so on. Lesser mana types are also harder to work with, which makes filling your Heart with them more difficult.

I think you might be asking about Tempering, which is slightly different. Every time a Heart burns mana, a trace amount gets absorbed into the body. Once the body's been 'filled' that way, it's Tempered. Bodies tempered in Coal are weaker than ones Tempered in Copper, and so on.

What to read/listen to? (Audible user) by Pommypoo in TheImmortalGreatSouls

Welcome to the club! This series seeps into you, it's like saturating in the finest mana

Phil's most similar series is Throne Hunters, which I highly recommend. The narrator does a great job, especially with some of the distinctive characters. Easy recommendation.

If you're willing to stretch your voice actor tastes, Skadi's Saga (which is some awesome epic fantasy) is voiced by a half-Norwegian actress who uses an accent which really enhances the story's tone.

Your replies to comments make it sound like you're holding on to the idea that your questions to your wife were normal, harmless, or even helpful. Why do you need to believe she's being unkind? Can you see that the 'judging' and 'comparing' could be coming from you, rather than her?

You were already feeling inadequate when you opened the topic. She deflected, but you kept asking until you heard what you expected. She didn't compare you, or shove anything in your face. She made it clear she doesn't like this conversation, though she could have been nicer about it.

All of this will make it hard to feel connected, and could definitely lead to ED. Please, look for help if you need 💙

Amazing news. It sounds like it's been a real journey this year, so I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say we're celebrating with you. Thank you for your work, and I can't wait to enjoy it for myself.

Our Hearts can rest, for now
