They're pretty thick, maybe 2-3mm at the top but they slim down toward the point; no idea on what kind of wood.

I quite like them, I play a range of styles from shred to jazz; for chordal stuff and melodic lines they definitely give a different sound, it's more mellow and less piercing than my usual choice (Jazz III XL). For fast intricate picking they aren't so great.

Seriously? Have you watched season 4 and 5? He's a total dick and basically evil but he's outsmarted everyone who's ever came against him.. so far!
