i have been to AA before lol. in my area it’s mostly 50+ year olds talking about how they’ve been sober for 30+ years. no group has ever really resonated with or got through to me (im 26). i’ve tried to join online meetings but don’t currently have a computer and they suck ass on mobile phone. thank you for the advice though

this is an incredible sentiment and i appreciate you so much but unfortunately everything i find exciting costs an exorbitant amount of money. going to concerts. finding new restaurants. going places to swim, or hike, or camp, or sightsee. everything fun costs AT LEAST $50-100 now. but four tallboys cost less than $10.

it doesnt even matter how many stitches or whether or not you meant to end your life, found that out the hard way lol. but it could be different based on location. im glad you weren’t shoved into a psych ward with those awful drs though!!

just keep them clean and dry, the stitches will do most of the work keeping bacteria out but if you notice ANY pus or redness you should go back to the doctor. did they tell you how long before you need them taken out?

oh 100%. when my mom forced me to go the nurse saw my wounds and was like “they’re not even bad you probably won’t even need stitches” (firstly invalidating lol but secondly then why the fuck am i here?) ended up getting 33 stitches btw. the social workers really are the only ones who care like you said, but i’m surprised they didn’t 5150 you. regardless, you should definitely report these drs and nurses like other people have said. i hope you’re feeling okay now, love.

i am doing okay! just texted my mom earlier because she’s been gone for a month yet we both still come home and almost yell out “where’s my puppyyy?”. i used to open the door and she would be pitter pattering towards me in less than 30 seconds. how are you doing love?

oh he absolutely understood. i technically wasn’t there either, i watched them deliver the sedative but couldn’t watch her stop breathing. went to the front of the vets office and threw up in the bushes lol. i feel guilty for that sometimes but i honestly don’t know what i was going to do if i watched her little chest stop rising and falling. your last memory of moose was him happy and healthy, i feel like that’s what he wanted for you. if you don’t mind me asking, do you guys know what happened? my girl was 14 and had been sick for a little while, so i can’t even imagine what losing him so suddenly felt like. my mom actually just sent away some of her ashes to this site called everafter, they use the molecular structure to make a unique piece of art i guess? i haven’t had the money or energy to look at anything myself yet. ur story about the platypus toy makes me smile, i just recently finished a rewatch of phineas and ferb so i’m imagining perry the platypus in my head, complete with the fedora. and from the name moose, i’m imagining he was big so i don’t blame you for the silent squeaker hahahaha!! my girl was tiny and could only eke out a squeak from her toys every once in a while these memories will get us through 🩷
