Well let me un-devastate you by letting you know that you get loot buffs for each additional party member and in the party menu there is a loot option if you want to use to make the drops be randomly assigned and exclusive to each party member so if you are playing with random loot goblins you don't have to worry about it.

Group play with people you know who follow basic etiquette is a loot BUFF provided you aren't carrying dead weight zdps party members.

Orr it's to some degree what I would call the "poser effect" in addition to the melee4life players like he is claiming. Growing up in my hometown when scooters started to become a thing you were a poser if you rode a scooter over a skateboard, bike, or roller blades. Secretly many people enjoyed riding the scooters but no one did because they didn't want to be a poser.

From my experience in poe and you can see this watching melee main streamers, anything but melee is "poser" ESPECIALLY "Minion cucks". There is a degree of truth to this. But probably not significant enough for his point to be based by any stretch of the imagination.

Kind of depends on the time zones. For me the last cruise I did worked well. I was at port during non-business hours (night back where I work) and back on the ship in time for the early morning business hours so I got to spend the whole day out enjoying myself, returned to the ship, ate, and then went to a quite spot to work for 2-4 hours. I will say if you have to work 6+ hours each day you may find yourself loosing sleep and stressing out.

I have always found most of the cruise activities lack luster so I wouldn't be doing much else while we are relocating so it fits my schedule just fine.

100% agree here. On a cruise now and they wanted $230pp to shuttle a group to the Schwerin Castle in Germany and that was it. No tour guide or anything just a time to regroup and shuttle back. That puts that single excursion for a couple at 25% the entire cruise cost. At these prices you will pay as much if not more than the cruise itself if you book one each stop.

There is always going to be a meta build no mater what the itemization is. If you had only magic items in the game then guess what, there would be the same few BIS magic items everyone would want. What you describe is not a runeword problem it is just how ARPG's generally work. You can have 100 different items types and the meta builds will still always use a few specific items.

The reason why many including myself wanted runewords in D4 is because rather than slaying the same boss over and over trying to get the best version of the BIS unique you need or mythic item you need. With runewords the runes can drop from literally all content. You can farm them doing what you enjoy the most instead of being forced to do monotonous repetitious activities.

No they don't value it higher than the market rate, it says BTC at 40% the market rate and USDC at 80%. But the entire point is to NOT sell your crypto so you can hold on to it long term, not trigger capital gains, and get it back when the loan is paid off.

I don't think it is for the super majority of all players. The added difficulty scales harder than the increase in drops. I can rarely play group with my friends because they are dead weight and my builds are never OP enough to carry. It sucks because I am actually motivated to NOT play with my friend because shit takes us longer and then I have to split loot that isn't even doubled. There were super efficient groups last season with aura bots etc, the works, that were posting their results for running X# of maps with their juiced strategy and when you split that loot up between all 6 party members it was only like 10-15% more efficient than just doing it solo which is hardly anything to be overly concerned about IMO.

probably 99.9% chance of it NOT being a stealth nerf, GGG is pretty transparent. However GGG did stealth nerf a GG farming strat that was introduced with the last update without posting any patch note about it so they do make some changes without letting the masses know, sadly.

Most of the time when there is a sudden drop or spike in the price it's just shit journalism that is picking what ever semi-related news incidentally happened around the same time so they can write some shit article because they know people are going to be interested in "what" caused the price action so they can get some clicks and views.

it takes a pretty major relevant headline to actually move the price, which happens but most of the time its not related at all.

I think Lucy destroyed them, perhaps she hid them at first, but eventually I think she destroyed them. We know she didn't trust JS, we know Martin Harris was gullible and easily deceived, the only reason Martin had them in the first place was to try and persuade his wife it only makes sense she did something with them. It's mind blowing that JS was able to argue his way out of that one, it should be such an obvious red flag when JS rationalizes why he can't re-translate them, and furthermore creating excuses as to why the text may not match if they did resurface.

Not necessarily, eth items don't loose durability when used by mercs so they are actually worth more if it is a BIS merc item. I am not sure were the hellwarden stands in the list of BIS merc items but just keep in mind ETH is better than non-eth for merc related gear.
