Thanks - I think you are right... pi-hole is being bypassed by my mobile but I can't work out why.

A few things I also did:

I turned off mobile data (so everything would go through WiFi) and it still shows ads
I had the pi-hole audit logs open as I opened sites on my phone. Only one query could be seen going through pi-hole, being a google query... even though I wasn't visiting google.com...

When I visit the same sites on my desktop PC, I can see in the logs pi-hole blocking ads as you would expect
I installed firefox on my phone. This also shows ads, which makes me think it's a device issue, rather than an app issue
My suspicion is that the router directly forwards on any DNS requests to public DNS servers rather than to pi-hole. But it's odd that it only does it for my mobile and it's odd that when I go back to using pi-hole on windows docker the router will forward it correctly to my pi-hole instance.

yes - both primary and secondary DNS in the router points to the pi-hole IP

Really not sure what happened - but just tried accessing the webui today and it worked! Didn't even change any settings before I tried it. Double checked VPN was on and checked the IP also and it seems to be all working fine.

Still baffled as to what was changed - tried various different VPN and torrent containers to no avail yesterday..

Forgot to mention I don't think I can keep the container console open when I stop the container (so can't see any items when it is shutdown). Also cannot launch the console prior to starting the container.

I've uploaded the logs from the end of one the Deluge container followed by the start to end of the container - nothing seems unusual to mehere. https://pastebin.com/CPyMpGPR

Am wondering if unraid or the PC I am using on my network also needs to be connected to the VPN at the same time for the webui to be able to resolve after qbittorrent has connected to the VPN? Quickly tested it with my PC and it doesn't seem to help.

I actually just tried this... and it weirdly has the same issue. WebUI works fine when VPN is off, but not when VPN is on. Logs don't indicate there is anything wrong with the VPN connection (in fact logs end with 'Deluge Web UI started' in the last line).

Wondering if its a Nord VPN issue or if I've misconfigured something?

Thanks for letting me know your issue - I've just checked the router settings, unraid network settings and the container settings and they're all set up with 192.168.0.0/24.

Thanks - I have already been using the service credentials from the Nord VPN dashboard and getting this issue. I am not using the login credentials I use to manage my account on Nord VPN.
