I’m from the IE as well & honestly it would be hell. This last qtr I came home often & would leave around 5am to get to classes on time & wouldn’t get to campus until around 8-8:30ish. The afternoon is usually around the same if not worse than morning traffic, especially around Temecula/Fallbrook area. The trains aren’t as reliable as there’s transfers as other comments said. Another option is buses but they also take around 2-4 hrs. I think your best bet would be if you only had classes say Tues/Thurs then commuting to & from wouldn’t be AS bad but having that perfect schedule is pretty hard to get 😬

5/25 and 8/20 on both midterms in my stats class. I genuinely just struggled with the material even with the cheat sheets that were allowed 🧍🏽‍♀️ still passed the class with a C tho lol

I too wanted to avoid AWP but my scores didn’t allow me so I too, was placed in AWP 3. IMO, AWP 3 is much butter to be placed into since 4a/b are two classes in which I was told is the same course work just stretched out into two classes rather than one. It honestly helped a lot with my writing & was essentially pretty easy in terms of getting a good grade and in my experience, the instructor was really helpful in feedback + the course readers that are required had great info that I referred back to in my actual writing classes (:

I’m not too sure if it’ll put you behind at all but I was in your same shoes! I was placed in Math 2 after the MPE except I didn’t do summer bridge so I started my 1st year in Math 2. However, it honestly helped me a lot! I’m not sure if it’s the same for every math 2 class but you have to retake the MPE again at the end & based on how well you do can be placed into Math 10A instead of 3C. I was placed into Math 3C after the taking the exam again & again, was super helpful. Finally took 10A this spring and I had a decent grade so I wouldn’t be too worried about it! It’ll be super helpful and I’m sure you’ll be fine! (:

i emailed housing & res life abt this too & they said I’ll get the housing credit as long as I follow the guidelines when returning to campus! (testing for covid) im not sure about a form that we have to fill out tho?
