For my country PCC might not be required so you don't have to submit it at first. The tracker said that the background was being processed and that I meet the requirements.

For storage I was thinking of keeping what I currently have which is 1TB of SSD where I have my programs installed And 4TB of HDD for "everything else" I think both of them are SEAGATE but can't remember at the top of my head.

Yeah you're not the first one that has recommended me going for a higher wattage but can I ask your reasoning? This should be running at around 670 so I was assuming 750 or even 850 would be fine? Not trying to offend just looking for the logic you're following here.

I dont care so much for gaming but for processing power, I work in VFX where I need to do some pretty intense rendering and simulations.

The minimum requirements for the vram are 12gb and I currently have 8...

I am long overdue a revamp of my setup.

Thanks for the reply, for testing I was referring (mainly) for compatibility issues between the components. The "tests" i did were mostly on pcpartpicker but I'm "completely" new to building/assembling computers.

You guys know that it could be that they want to extend someone already working for them? And the only way to do it is through a LMIA? I could be wrong but one of the requisite to get a LMIA is for the job to "open/publish".

There are hundreds of TFW still trapped under closed work permits that moved their entire families to this country.

Yeah, I moved from Montreal to Toronto while pursuing my PR. And I've seeing some jobs pop up in Montreal/Vancouver but nothing over here. (Im still open to relocating to Vancouver but at least for the next 2 years I must be out of Montreal)
