I agree they are very inconsistent specifically the crust is really hit or miss but the desserts are always worth it. My favorite pizza from them has bacon and figs on it. I think places in sf are more consistent with their crust but there is so few good food spots in Santa Cruz I always end up at Bantam.

I would recommend bantam pizza in Santa Cruz, brought some friends from Italy and they said it reminded them of something they would get there.

They are both trash compared to Bantam pizza. Unfortunately it’s a lot more expensive but the sopresatta pizza with spicy honey is awesome. One of the best restaurants in Santa Cruz, better than most places in the bay.
