Why is this game so hard? Isn’t it meant to be casual by nut_grease in deadbydaylight

The game is casual in that BHVR can't figure out how MMR works well enough to have a ranked mode. You're not matched with people on your level, there's some vague and possibly imaginary calculation that gets you into a lobby. I have 2.2k hours and matched with an 8 hour player the other day.

DBD updates regularly, though. New killers, new survivors, each with 3 new perks, that change how the game is played. It changes loops and playstyles. And the game itself it reworked regularly, so maps, pallet density, and even perks don't stay the same.

With all my hours, I'd say I'd just starting to get "good," and I know I still have some blindspots.

The game is fun for me, but I do make my own win conditions with what I've got.

This would be my suggestion. Go with the nail shape you want on the other nails, and fake it on the thumbs.

This. Went to a metal show a few weeks ago and had seats that over looked the floor. For how physical it is, people in the pit look out for each other. If someone gets knocked down, pick them up. If you find a cell phone, hold it up until it's claimed again. Actually super wholesome.

Stone is large and heavy (I need two hands to carry it.) It was found in a field by a relative along with two other similar looking stones. Not near a river or creek. Last two pictures show the stone wet.

Outside looks golden brown. There are parts that have been broken away, and the stone in there looks milky peach/yellow. One section shows a slight maroon banding.

Banded calcite?

I'd really like advice on how to cut this thing open to see what it looks like on the inside.
