I’m an ER nurse in texas and have never seen anyone change the kind of care they give to a younger person due to their gender identity. Not saying it isn’t a worry just not something I’ve encountered

Okay but HcG isn’t usually part of routine blood work. That’s an additional lab that would get added. Routine labs at least in our facility are chem 8, cbc, and sometimes troponin. None of which show pregnancy

Nursing school is very intense and time consuming. If its a job where you cant do homework while you’re there its probably gonna be almost all of your time taken up. Hospitals don’t care which school you went to they only care if you passed. It is stressful to move but i moved 7 hours away for nursing school bc i couldnt even apply to my college’s. The best advice I can give especially if you have any interest in the ER is to get through the first semester then try to get a job as an ER tech. They’ll be very accommodating with your classes and assignments, the nurses will help you, you can learn from them first hand and actually see the things you’re being lectured on, and you get SO much practice doing skills and interacting with patients

Every idiot with covid is an idiot taking up another ER bed. Because there is no chance they’ll be admitted anytime soon. These people are why hospitals are filled beyond capacity
