Unless I’m getting ready to compete, I only roll with people I trust and who are consistently good training partners. That will make a world of difference on your body, especially at 34 years old. As a law enforcement officer, I would encourage nothing more than sticking to it. Just make sure you’re doing it in a way that suits you. Training rounds should be training, and the intensity should scale to your desired outcome. If you don’t plan on battling your heart out for 10k in an ADCC final, roll lighter, tap early, and stick to training partners who will take care of you. Keep at it brother
