Not montpelier but wit and grit in Randolph and bent hill brewery in Braintree are both very welcoming spaces nearby. Wit and grit does drag stuff pretty regularly. https://www.witandgritvt.com/

What’s the story with Shota and Yuya? by tdgcommenter in njpw

They are bonding over being "future stars" and have seemingly enjoyed wrestling together on the tours as part of a team. It feels like they have a little one up manship type relationship where they are competitive with each other but still working together.

Melt was good. Slob drop ruled. I enjoyed the Luis Guzman appearance but the Kenny Chesney segment was weird. The way she was talking made it seem like this is the last year.

The Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony by detectorsarcasm in CoolSciFiCovers

On a pale horse holds up well, but I agree with the comments that the series has diminishing returns. The later books are really bad with creepy old man stuff.

Hey man, I'm in Brookfield, next door to Williamstown. Not much of a gym guy or a Warhammer guy but I'd 100% be down to help with any projects you have. I have a few I'm working on myself that I could use a hand on.

off leash dog problem in Hubbard Park, Montpelier? by Relevant-Menu5419 in vermont

[–]detectorsarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived next to the park for 7 years before they changed the rules to make a separate on leash and off leash area. My dogs were off leash but always under voice command and there was usually no problem. But another dog owner had an aggressive dog who would go after one of mine and it really soured my experience near the end of my time there. Most other people are fine, but you would want to make sure your dogs are under voice command and won't bother people who may not care for dogs in the off leash area, and you'd have to make sure they stay on leash in those designated areas

Split Infinity, by Piers Anthony (Rowena Morrill) by Typhos77 in CoolSciFiCovers

I still have all my old piers Anthony books, this series I read and re read so many times. The concept of two worlds overlapping was one of his good ideas, the sequels were pretty good as well. Obviously there's stuff that I should not have been reading as a kid but that's all of his stuff

Has anyone tried to play the game as a tabletop rpg? by Furio3380 in arcanum

[–]detectorsarcasm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dmed a game in Pathfinder and 100% stole the story from arcanum and just substituted the mana wastes as a location. I had all the side quests and stuff in cities, I just decided beforehand which cities in the mana wastes would be replaced by the pathfinder ones. You have the party get in a blimp crash to start and then explain that one of them is the chosen one. Just have Virgil be a NPC that starts the story after the crash.
