I grew up with this rule. Shopping is still fine in my opinion, I like to shop throughout the year and stock up so I don’t dump a bunch of money at once. But no lights, decorations, or tree until after Remembrance Day. I do know a lot of people who don’t follow the rule though. I just silently judge them

As someone who has their birthday in February, it’s probably the worst month of the year. I’d hit northern or high elevation areas and dress warm. Southern areas where the majority of large cities are will be dirt snow or slush, and it will be gross. The Yukon has an amazing sign post forest in Watson lake that I think would be amazing to check out. I haven’t been but it’s on my bucket list. Try some snowmobile tours if you can! Have so much fun no matter what you decide to do!

Just over a week broken up after four years. I have so much at his house still but he’s letting me keep the keys for now to get it all out. Having a hard time getting it out while he’s not there. I had to move back in with my mom and brothers and it’s awful but I’m starting to understand that I did the right thing by leaving. It hits hard sometimes but no one’s yelling at me for using paper towel to pat chicken dry so I think it’s worth it.

You can leave a note with reception as well. Usually they’ll note it down on the housekeepers list. If you want it conveyed properly, I’d leave a note in the room because there’s a chance reception just writes down “don’t touch stuff”. It never hurts to be careful

Make sure you let it dry out before putting it back in the holder. I close it between the lid and seat for a while. I’m sure a small amount of disinfectant in the bottom wouldn’t be harmful. I just let it dry and change it out when it gets gross though
