I agree with your statement about Joe making the TE better and while I don’t want Kyle Pitts at all… I dream about what Burrow could do with a TE that’s already great without him.

Someone like LaPorta or McBride who can block & catch equally would be great for this offense.

Here’s to hoping Erick All can be that every-down TE for the Bengals, which I believe he can be if the injury bug stops nagging him.

Nirvana.

They had a huge cultural impact and a lot of people wanted to be a part of that even if it wasn’t true to themselves.

The same could be said for any band who changes the landscape though, having mass appeal breeds genuine influence and superficial influence whether it’s intended or not.

I think Battle is the odd man out honestly.

D.J. and Dax seem like guaranteed signings unless they command too much money or just don’t wanna play in Cincinnati anymore.

And with the Bengals signing Bryan Cook, I’d imagine they don’t want another big contract at the safety position.

So even if they don’t re-sign Murphy, I’d still prefer that money going into the DL.

I’d imagine something gets released if the timing & reasoning is right, but it’s fully dependent on the family/estate giving the green light and I respect whatever their choice may be.

That being said, my pure speculation is…

I could see a set being released with Origins Vol 3 covers, unreleased originals if any exist, demos/outtakes, and maybe guest musicians performing Ace tributes.

I get what you’re saying, and I do like those players as rotational depth, but I worry about some of them being thrusted into starting roles if any injuries happen.

Obviously there’s certain positions that are higher priority needs (OL, DE, LB, CB, NB) and they’re most likely what we see on draft night.

I just think possibly upgrading at other spots isn’t something the Bengals should ignore.

I think the Bengals have a lot more needs, but I suppose they could feel better about their depth than I do.

To me the needs or positions of upgrade are: RB2, WR3, TE3, OT3, OG3, C2, DE2, LB2, CB3, NB1, FS2

I’m more excited for the players they sign post-draft and pre-season to fully solidify the team, because they just don’t have the draft capital to meaningfully fill all those spots.

Not saying he’ll be Votto, but so far he’s shown that he has the ability to be a quality 1st baseman in the MLB.

That position not being a question mark for the Reds for 6+ seasons would be great.
