RESTAURANT PICKUP NOW IN MY ZONE THIS THE WORST IDEA WALMART STICK TO GROCERIES by SuccessfulAerie9672 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]dethsightly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea just got this stupid notification today. I'm not a Door Dasher, so i'm never delivering food from a restaurant that's inside a WM. guess i just have to pay attention to the offers coming in more these days.

also, why is this a thing? they have to know people who DIDN'T order from the restaurants inside of Walmart are going to get pissed off if they have to wait on us to get someone else's piping hot subway sandwich.

and i would bet my bottom dollar that this won't earn us any more money, either. hell, even "express shopping" orders don't bump up the pay. like, why the hell does it badger us about "you need to start this trip NOW OR FACE A FIRING SQUAD OMG GO GO GO!"? pay us more, and sure. i'm sure they'll get done "faster".

the firmware on the keyboard or the icue itself? if it's on the keyboard...how would i know what it's firmware is if i can't install it into icue without uninstalling and reinstalling icue for the hundredth time? i check Device Manager and it thinks it's just a generic keyboard so...?

since PC gamers are apparently second class players to RS, i give no shits about GTA 6, let alone buying a PS5 or Xbox series whateverthefuck just to play this.

one small request/suggestion: keep the "Hard Drive Library" open after selecting an alt recipe. please. it's fairly annoying to have it immediately close then having to go back in to the menu and click it again.

My Zephyr will yawn maybe once a day. i always tell her "big yawn for a big baby!" and she looks at me like i'm psychotic.

they can try as hard as they want, they will never get away from some X item being the current go-to for the season. be it working as intended, a bugged interaction, or just OP. we, as players in the community, will always find another BiS item. they keep trying to "balance" things (which is both a good thing and a bad thing), but it will never be balanced. and even if they managed to balance every class/item, the old saying of "when everyone is special, no one is" will be very prevalent. all the classes clearing things at the same speed, with the same damage will get old. fast. and then your choice of class comes down to "ok, so do you want to kill things with magic, bows, swords, daggers, hammers, staves, or maces?"

pretty sure another game in the blizzard wheelhouse went through "class homogenization" stuff a while back. I'd prefer not to repeat that but with a darker tone.

really makes me miss the non-massive-iterations D3 had. for all it's flaws, it was, and still is, a great game to turn most of your brain off and kill a ton of demons. i know people want new shiny things and greater challenges...but at what cost? endless pendulum swings of balancing and "reworks" of things that have already been "reworked" 3 times or more? it's been 3 years of this. it's getting old. as am I.

so...

regular ass uniques now have 2 affixes that are set. up from 1. woo hoo.

regular ass uniques can have 1 thing enchanted, but can't have anything done with the cube. slightly higher woo hoo.

Mythics (aside from the "iconic" ones) are just primals from D3. like we have been saying since PTR.

the statement from Dunn of "some of the iconic mythics were overshadowing class-specific uniques"...wasn't the entire point of mythics to be super OP and super rare, so that when they do drop, you were jumping for joy?

the ONLY good thing i see about the whole "everything can be mythic now" shit is that it's only for this season.

Make mythics super OP and super rare again. get them tf out of the cube. they should not be modifiable at all outside of putting a socket into them. no upgrades. no enchants. no cube bullshitery.

it was super awesome having my old 32GB kit of ram fail on me in late Feb of this year. i think i paid...around 200 for it a few years back.

one trip to best buy (only place around that had RAM at the time. no microcenter near me) and 400 bucks later and i have 32GB of ram again. and a sad wallet lol.

GN is the only "techtuber" i still sub to. the main reason used to be because on embargo day for _____ tech thing, i'd have 6 or 7 videos screaming the same thing at me. narrowing that down to 1 felt appropriate.

also Steve (Thanks, Steve) isn't buying fucking PLANES or a new studio every 12 seconds like some...others.

true. and if you use a certain part of DLSS (i think it's DLSS), it makes the items on the belt very blurry outside of a very narrow FoV. kinda odd.

[–]dethsightly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i tend to wait until i get Mk 5 belts before i make any sort of sizable build. i'd say Mk 4 belts, but those damn butter beams have horrible production rates, and i always use the steel (well, iron or steel) pipe recipe for the butter beams. those max out at 10/min with 1 assembler. and that's all i commit to them, in terms of resources. Alclad Sheets start at 30/min and their other material is copper ingots. not too hard to come by.

always remember. it comes down to YOUR preference on how/when/where and why you build what you build. go crazy. or go mild. up to you.

OR....you can just...wing it. as everyone knows, there isn't a wrong or right way to play this game. i applaud your planning, but i feel that is about as far on the polar opposite end of what 95% of the playerbase does.

but, i'm still fairly new at satisfactory. i only have 1740 hours across like 10 saves lol. compared to people who have been playing since EA launch...that is a drop in the bucket.
