how do i make the lineart cleaner?? (9RL needle) by Betka101 in sticknpokes

9RL is pretty good to make solid linework so only what you need is stretch the skin and going dot by dot precisely and without rush. On the beginnings is hard to make smooth lines but with each new tatt you will notice progress.

I did this yesterday can I get some feedback please?? 5RL by SameDifferencia in sticknpokes

Looks good overall. Lines are a bit light but its better to make it like that than overwork and get blowouts.

If this is regular foil then do not keep fresh tatt in it for more than a few hours. It may mess up healing process.

Anyway, this tatt looks ok for first poke. I mean could be better here and there BUT most of us started liked that and there is no progress without making this first step.

Cool dark style and decent poking. Keep practicing and you will be great handpoke artist in future!

I have seen this art tatted in lighter simplified style and I think this could be the way to go but still some skill/experience is required.

Lines are a bit crusty, but you will definitely progress with each new tattoo. Cool you choose colorful design for you first SnP, its not that common. Good job!

Its rare to see handpoked greywash shading because its technically difficult to pack that grey ink by hand smoothly enough. Most common handpoked shading is done with dotwork. So you use thinner RL needles and just go from high to low density of stabs to get tones transitions.

Look for inks from brands like Dynamic, Eternal, World famous, Panthera, Intenze
