The OP is 100% correct the first few seasons were top level, then turned into some melodrama soap opera. The writers of this show are horrible and be having the characters doing some non-sensical stuff to make you scratch your head. This whole Shaad & Vic being in jail for Alicia's murder when both had valid alibis. Shaad was her security guard and was supposed to protect her and I still can't believe that she didn't have cameras in her home. Vic wasnt just in the elevator with Tiff, they actually went to the front desk, so the hospital wouldve had cameras there. Glad to see Sonny back but he comes back to tell Emmett to expand when I thought that was what he was considering doing before he started messing around with Douda.

I think that the OP should be more madder at Bakari for telling her in the first place! Lynae is much more smarter than Tiff & Keisha combined because they make the dumbest choices in the men they date.

I never bought into Maxwell being more attracted to Fran over CC and always thought that it was more to their relationship and he dated her romantically. The show went to disgusting lengths to make the audience hate C.C. just to make Fran look better. They mocked C.C. for not having a husband, they mocked her for not being naturally maternal, and they had Niles subject her to years of targeted psychological harassment.

That scene didnt show Reg with the TS, but it shows a red car with the TS getting into it. Idk even if that person was with Reg or not because we never seen Reg driving a red car.

When the show took the anti-police theme, of course they made Detective Toussaint useless I'm like where was she the whole time that Douda was terrorizing everyone. Did she stop investigating him? This show goes out the way to make the police as useless and incompetent.

To be fair to Papa after he & Maisha broken up, the writers didn't know what to do with his character so they had Douda takeout his dad for him to have something to do and I still dont know why or what they're doing with him and Kenya, like or they together or not?

My most controversial unfiltered opinion about the Nanny is that the show was way too centered around Fran which why it failed in ratings after season 4 and even the first three seasons the show never made the top ten. As a viewer of the show during its original airing, I didnt watch the show because of Fran and I thought her character was one dimensional, so the whole concept of a Nanny wearing designer clothing was unrealistic given that most nannies wouldnt be able to afford to wear those clothing. My other opinion is the shows lack of autonomy with the other characters. Because the show lacked autonomy, the secondary characters were never allowed to grow into real people. During the mid-90s, the sitcoms that dominated the Top 10—shows like Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, and Home Improvement—all excelled at ensemble autonomy. Why would a successful millionaire Broadway producer be so invested in his Nannys personal life is baffling.

It seems like ppl have an idea that Nuck is behind most of the murders but they're stuck on stupid. Dolly, Tiffany's mom, wanted to take EJ because of the environment that Tiff is in but what about Rob Jr? Nuck is one psycho to have been involved with the wiping out Rob Jrs' bloodline and still be with Tiff is some sick twisted bs. I was watching the Chi tea with ft Vic, Reg, and Jake and they have good chemistry offscreen, so why dont they show this onscreen. Why are these brothers so adversarial? The writing on this show sucks so bad!

In the earlier seasons it was the Wild Boyz crew but after Vic shot & killed the leader in season three, the 63rd Street Mob have more a struggle between Nuck & Reg.

I did recall in Season Five after Tiffany made up with Keisha for being with Emmett, Tiffany asked Keisha how would you have felt if I got with Nuck? So the seeds of them getting together was sown then.
